$BTC finally wakes up — and macro setups explain why.
The Russell 2000 hit its all-time high again in Q4 2021.
It remained calm while large-cap stocks stole the spotlight.
Even as the S&P 500 continued to hit new all-time highs from Q1 2024 onward, small-cap stocks lagged behind. Patience was tested. Confidence was questioned.
Then Q4 2025 happened.
The Russell 2000 broke new all-time highs.
Now the important part — it started outperforming the S&P 500.
That’s the change.
Capital always rotates. First into safety. Then into size. Then into risk.
Small-cap stocks didn’t lead at the start — they exploded after the structure was in place.
Crypto follows the same psychology.
If poorly performing small-cap stocks can lag for years and then suddenly lead the market, there’s no reason altcoins can’t do the same after being ignored, suppressed, and overlooked.
Rotation doesn’t ask for permission.
It just happens.
The question isn’t whether altcoins will move.
But when people realize that the move has already begun.
