2.9 Intraday Strategy Reference

Time flies, tomorrow is the Northern Little New Year, and next Monday is Chinese New Year's Eve. This week, the macro environment has also been turbulent, with CPI and non-farm payroll data to be released successively. Volatility expectations will significantly increase, so pay special attention to rhythm and position management during trading.
In the morning, Bitcoin surged to around 72,300 and then quickly pulled back. The short-term top signal is now quite clear. From a technical perspective, the 72,300 level shows a prominent long upper shadow, indicating ample selling pressure release; the price has fallen back below the short-term key moving averages. Although indicators show oversold signs, the bearish momentum has not yet fully exhausted.
This upward move itself lacked strong follow-through, more like a false breakout driven by sentiment. Currently, the pullback is accelerating, which has also triggered some panic selling. In the short term, it’s safer to view rebounds as resistance rather than a reversal.
The intraday strategy is to mainly short on rebounds:
Bitcoin: Watch for resistance in the 70,900–71,500 range, with targets at 69,300–68,500. If it breaks below this level effectively, look further down to around 68,000.
Altcoin: Watch for a pullback structure in the 2,080–2,125 range, with targets at 2,030 and 2,000. If weakness continues, pay attention to around 1,865.
