Is It Too Late to Invest in Bitcoin? Is It a Bubble?

There’s a joke that goes like this:
A little boy asks his father—who invests in Bitcoin—for one Bitcoin as a birthday gift.
His father replies:
“What? You want $19,300? $17,000 isn’t a small number! What do you need $13,000 for?”
Pause.
“Alright… here’s $9,800. Proceed with caution.”
Funny—but also painfully accurate.
Bitcoin itself is not a bubble.
Speculation is.
And no—it’s not too late to invest. But how you do it matters more than when you do it.
Core Rules (Ignore These at Your Own Risk)
Don’t be avaricious. Greed is the fastest way to lose money.
Watch the news closely for the currencies you invest in. Fundamentals matter.
Patience is a virtue. Markets punish impatience.
Don’t buy near obvious peaks. Pullbacks almost always follow.
Don’t FOMO. If you wake up and see a coin already up 5×, you’re late—not early.
Don’t panic sell. Sharp drops feel terrifying, but they’re part of volatility.
Buy during fear, not euphoria.
Buying after sustained drops → lower risk
Buying during tight consolidation (±5%) → reasonable risk

Sell after rapid increases.
Set a profit target in advance
Stick to it no matter what
This is the hardest—and most important—rule

Selling slightly early is fine. Missing the exact top is normal. Chasing it is dangerous.
Tools & Market Reality
Platforms like Coinbase are beginner-friendly.
Track overall market data on CoinMarketCap.
A coin’s price = market cap ÷ circulating supply.
Coins don’t have “intrinsic” value without real money flowing in.
Protect Your Life, Not Just Your Capital
Don’t lose sleep over this. Eat well. Sleep well. Be happy.
Avoid leverage if you can. If you must use it, cap it strictly.
Only invest money you can afford to lose without blinking.
Fast gains can make you obsessed—this is how people fall into the abyss.
Don’t expect millions in weeks. You have a job. You have a life.
A famous wealthy trader in China once lost $10 million in one night—then casually announced he’d invest 50× more.
This is a game for the rich. For everyone else, survival comes first.
Final Warnings
Don’t trust YouTube prophets or Reddit hype.
Watch the news. Always.
No matter how many stories you read, you’ll still:
Buy too high
Sell too low
That’s okay—if you learn.

Periodically withdraw profits to secure your original capital.
Mining might be a better option for some—but it’s not free money.
And lastly:
Don’t be voracious.
Yes—I’m saying it again.
I’m still making mistakes too.
That never really stops.
