Life is like a dream. People always mistakenly believe they've gained in the previous scene, only to suffer the shock of losing in the next. Little do they realize that my attachment is just a mark on the boat of time, for no one can reverse the flow of the river of time. What it brings will also take it away. What I have lost also grants me gain. All conditioned phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, or shadows; like dew or lightning. They should be viewed as such.
