Latest data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that American gasoline sales contracted by 1.7% in November compared to the same period last year. Domestic gasoline consumption dropped to 8.68 million barrels per day, down from the previous demand level of approximately 152,000 barrels per day.

According to a report cited through Jin10, this downward pattern is part of a broader declining momentum. Data indicates that the previous month, October, already showed a decrease of 2.0%, meaning gasoline continues to face pressure on the consumption side.

This phenomenon reflects a weakening energy demand condition in the U.S. market. Factors such as seasonal changes, increased vehicle efficiency, and fluctuating travel patterns are believed to contribute to this ongoing trend of declining gasoline consumption.
