According to CCTV News, during the second round of Iran-U.S. talks concluded on the 17th, both sides reached an agreement on some overall issues. After the negotiation delegations reported and consulted with their respective governments, Iran and the U.S. will continue to discuss detailed matters. On the 6th of this month, Iranian and American representatives held indirect negotiations in Muscat, the capital of Oman, and reached a consensus to continue negotiations, but the two sides remain seriously divided on core issues.
