The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs launches the 140-day campaign to strengthen spring management, promote vigorous seedling growth, fight disasters, and secure a bumper summer grain harvest

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has launched the 140-day campaign to strengthen spring management, promote vigorous seedling growth, combat disasters, and secure a bountiful summer grain harvest. From “Beginning of Spring” (February 4) to “Summer Solstice” (June 21), coordinated efforts and precise guidance are implemented, seizing the farming season and applying targeted policies. Measures are carried out according to regions and varieties, tailored to local conditions and seedling stages, with detailed implementation of spring field management, yield improvement, disaster prevention and mitigation, and other key actions. All efforts are focused on building a solid foundation for a bumper wheat and rapeseed harvest. Additionally, six working groups and scientific teams are dispatched to main wheat and rapeseed producing provinces to conduct research and guidance on strengthening weak seedlings, coordinate solutions to difficulties, and consolidate the summer grain and oil production foundation.
