The number of our country's civilian on-orbit remote sensing satellites remains the second highest in the world.

Recently, the China Geographical Information Industry Association announced that by 2025, China will launch more than 120 remote sensing satellites, with over 640 civilian on-orbit remote sensing satellites, maintaining its position as the second-largest in the world. These satellites cover optical, hyperspectral, infrared, and microwave types, enabling all-weather, all-time Earth observation. Commercial remote sensing satellites continue to develop rapidly. Significant progress has been made in technological breakthroughs, constellation networking, and application expansion of remote sensing satellites. (Xinhua News Agency)
