Odaily Planet Daily reports that prediction market Kalshi has removed all “Alliance Badges” on the X platform. The reason is that X has recently tightened its paid promotion rules related to sports betting content. The badge previously served as a visible marker for influencers and alliance members promoting Kalshi’s event contracts, indicating their official relationship with the platform, though not as employees. X platform product manager Nikita Bier warned accounts that fail to disclose paid promotions with Kalshi could be suspended. In one interaction, Nikita Bier asked a user to specify in a reply that it was a paid promotion for Kalshi and pointed out that undisclosed commercial relationships undermine user trust in authenticity. This policy change echoes previous regulatory actions by X against crypto information platforms.
