IoTeX: L1 has been restored online, and the comprehensive compensation plan will be announced within 24 hours

On February 24, according to official sources, IoTeX announced the latest update on the security incident, stating that the L1 network was restored and upgraded on February 23, 2026. The new default blacklist feature can automatically filter malicious EOA addresses to enhance network security. A comprehensive compensation plan for affected bridge users will be announced within 24 hours. Previously, IoTeX reported that they had contained the security incident, with losses estimated at approximately $2 million; they also offered a 10% bounty for asset recovery, stating that hackers who return stolen assets within 48 hours will not be prosecuted.
