My younger brother is a perfect example of a late bloomer. From him, I see how one can achieve greatness later in life. Before turning 45, my brother lived in a remote area, earning a salary of only 2,000 to 3,000 yuan. Day after day, he kept accounts. The public appearances were all arranged by my capable older sister. Even with this kind of life, it was hard to maintain peace and stability. Coal mining has an end, and just as expected, he faced a very awkward day. Fortunately, my brother is very kind-hearted. When there’s no way out, there’s a path to victory. He changed jobs and moved to a different place. During the pandemic, he took on all the difficulties alone and worked hard to keep the company running. Such a person is a valuable asset to any leader. At age 50, he became an executive of a subsidiary of a listed company. A few days ago, something happened that made me see him in a new light. He took the initiative to discuss with me how their company is integrating AI into their business. We started with AI automation of his daughter’s business. We spent an afternoon, step by step, using AI to streamline the workflow and iteratively develop effective prompts. We quickly optimized a two-hour task to be completed in 15 minutes. During this process, I felt that he was quick-witted and insightful. Seizing the momentum, I immediately downloaded TRAE and within twenty minutes, created a simple driver fuel consumption management program. This experience strengthened two beliefs about growth: First, paying attention makes people smarter. Second, grinding on tasks leads to the fastest progress; once taught, it’s easy to learn. These two points are also the fundamental starting line of education.
