Securities Daily Online News: On February 24, Zhongwei New Materials responded to investor questions on the interactive platform, stating that the company’s sodium battery materials have entered the commercialization phase. They successfully secured a thousand-ton order in 2025 and achieved mass shipment, with significant progress in customer certification and cooperation. The company maintains a dual technical route in the sodium battery materials field, focusing on two main technologies: anionic (NFPP) and layered oxides, while also establishing a full-process R&D transformation system from small-scale to pilot to large-scale testing. Adhering to the “technology diversification” development strategy, the company has built and put into operation an annual production capacity of 8,000 tons of sodium battery materials. Future plans include steadily expanding capacity based on market demand and industrialization progress, creating a differentiated product matrix with lithium battery materials to meet the needs of downstream passenger vehicles, energy storage, and other diverse scenarios, helping the company build a more robust new energy materials business layout.
