A-shares midday review: The ChiNext Index fell 0.39% in the first half of the day, with sectors such as film and television cinemas, insurance, and real estate weakening.
February 26th, the three major A-share indices showed mixed performance in the morning session. By midday, the Shanghai Composite Index decreased by 0.08%, the Shenzhen Component Index increased by 0.28%, and the ChiNext Index decreased by 0.39%. The Beijing 50 Index rose by 0.28%. The combined trading volume of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was approximately 1.638 trillion yuan, an increase of about 117.275 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. At midday, there were 2,370 stocks rising and 2,966 stocks falling, with 63 stocks hitting the daily limit up and 1 stock hitting the daily limit down.
In terms of sectors, the top gainers included CPO, optical fiber, high-speed copper cable connections, PCB, liquid-cooled servers, power grid equipment, cultivated diamonds, and aircraft engines. The sectors with the largest declines were film and cinema chains, insurance, real estate, complete vehicles, epoxy propane, short-form games, building materials, and duty-free shops.
