Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 6, according to Cointelegraph, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan stated that the traditional "altcoin season" characterized by widespread market gains may have ended, and a "non-traditional" altcoin cycle is expected to follow.
Hougan believes that future altcoin seasons will be more differentiated, primarily rewarding assets with "real-world applications" and "practical value," rather than the past scenario of "rising tides lifting all boats." He pointed out, "I don't think we'll see the rotational gains from Bitcoin to ETH to DeFi and then to NFT images again."
