Microsoft releases Copilot Cowork, an enterprise intelligent agent built on Claude Cowork, to expand business capabilities
Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 9 — Microsoft (MSFT.O) announced on Monday the launch of Copilot Cowork, built on the Claude Cowork product. Claude Cowork has attracted attention in Silicon Valley for its ability to handle complex tasks with minimal human supervision. Microsoft is betting on its long-standing relationships with enterprise customers and its emphasis on security and data control to help win over companies interested in AI assistants but concerned about security.
Jared Spataro, who oversees Microsoft’s “AI at Work” business, said, “We operate only in the cloud environment and only on behalf of users. So you can be sure of what information (Copilot Cowork) can access.” Copilot Cowork is currently in testing and will be available to early users later this month. The company has not disclosed specific pricing but said that some usage will be included in its enterprise-oriented $30 per user per month M365 Copilot subscription, with additional usage available for purchase.
