From Customer Service to Partner: The Growth Journey — The Story of Jiu'er
13 years ago, she was the platform's "003" customer service representative and the "Goddess" among many retail investors. Today, she is a partner at Gate platform. Just as she combines the girl-next-door appearance with a devilish figure, her life is filled with mysterious legends. In the crypto world, full of code, candlesticks, and male hormones, "Jiu'er" has lived an enviable life through her solid learning ability and keen insight into user needs.
The story begins in 2013, when the crypto scene had not yet become a viral sensation. When Jiu'er first joined a trading platform, her understanding of blockchain was probably about the same as my understanding of quantum mechanics — besides knowing "this thing seems pretty powerful," everything else was question marks. To understand blockchain, she activated her "study mode": reading 1-2 professional books per month on blockchain technology, communication skills, and market operations, totaling over 12 books a year to systematically fill her knowledge gaps. Hard work paid off quickly; Jiu'er rose from a "customer service rookie" to the "customer service queen," with some users specifically requesting her, saying, "Listening to Jiu'er talk is more reassuring than watching candlestick charts."
In 2015, due to market downturns and personal growth needs, Jiu'er briefly left Gate.io, serving as CMO at Yinlian Technology and head of the aelf community, gaining practical experience in multiple fields. In 2019, she proactively contacted founder Han Lin: "Boss, are you still short-staffed? I want to come back and work with you," and rejoined Gate.io.
Contributions after returning to Gate:
✅ Promoting platform ecosystem upgrades
After returning, Jiu'er led the launch of interactive features such as chat rooms, news updates, and live streaming to enhance user engagement. She also promoted the development of GateChain's cross-chain smart contract ecosystem, initiating DeFi project integrations and Labs incubator plans.
✅ Responding to crises and safeguarding user interests
During the CNNS incident and market liquidations, she adhered to the principle of "users first," pushing the platform to proactively subsidize affected users. Even in the face of irrational attacks, she remained unwavering, demonstrating strong responsibility and resilience.
✅ Breaking the "flower vase" label and reshaping female strength
Despite being labeled as a "flower vase" by outsiders, Jiu'er responds to doubts with her actual abilities. She admits, "I did think about just being responsible for looks, but if it were that easy, that would be great." However, the reality is that her promotions are based on continuous output and strategic vision.
Industry influence and public image:
A symbol of women's strength in the crypto world, alongside He Yi, Jiu'er is regarded as one of the leading figures among women in crypto. With her authentic and resilient image, she inspires more women to voice themselves in technology and finance. Her approachable style has earned her user recognition; she often refers to herself as "Jiu'er," speaks plainly, and enjoys direct communication with users in communities. Many veteran users call her "Crypto Sister," establishing a deep emotional connection.
Dear friends, instead of envying others' "big sister," let's cherish our Gate "Jiu'er" more. What kind of person is the "Jiu'er" in your eyes? Will she be your goddess? Feel free to leave a comment. Wishing everyone prosperity every day!
Cost anchoring + miner shutdown logic is a rational way to approach cycle bottoms. I especially like the focus on validation signals instead of pure prediction.
Still, models provide zones — not guarantees. Liquidity and psychology can always distort the final move.
In the end, discipline during capitulation matters more than calling the exact bottom.
