JUST IN: US Seeks to Ban Cryptocurrency Betting on War and Violent Events Two lawmakers have introduced a bill that would ban betting based on armed conflicts, murders, terrorist attacks, or deaths.

The legislation would give the CFTC the authority to stop or prohibit bets.
