# The Biggest Mistake People from Elite Schools Make:

They fixate too much on money,
yet rarely seriously calculate what their time is actually worth.

At 20 with 100 million, healthy body, full energy, still opportunities for anything.
At 80 with 1 billion, lying in bed, can't eat, can't walk, can't see—what meaning do these numbers still hold?

So now I believe:
Money is never the endpoint.
Money is just a tool to exchange for freedom, for choices, for afternoons when you can still sit in the sun.

I've even pondered an extreme question:
Would an 18-year-old with nothing be willing to trade bodies with an 80-year-old billionaire?
Conversely, would that 80-year-old billionaire trade all their assets to get back to 18?

Once you think about this, many things suddenly become clear.

Right now, do you want more money,
or more time that belongs to you?
