Gate News, on March 16th, US President Trump posted on the Truth Social platform accusing Iran of using AI technology to produce false military information. Trump stated that Iran has long been adept at media manipulation and public relations, and now employs AI as a new tool for spreading disinformation. Trump cited three specific cases: First, Iran displayed false images of a suicide speedboat attack on ships, but these speedboats do not actually exist; second, regarding the incident where five US refueling aircraft were reportedly shot down, as previously reported by outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Trump said that except for one new aircraft, the others have been restored to service; third, Iran collaborated with media to create AI-generated images of the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier burning at sea, but in reality, the ship was not attacked. Trump also revealed that FCC Chairman Brendan Carr is reviewing the broadcast licenses of certain news organizations.
