# Three Parallel Worlds of Chinese Americans

1️⃣ Accompaniment Mothers on the "Breaking Point": The Rest of Life Between Ice and Fire

This group suffers the most. They sold their only property in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Shenzhen, brought all their savings, and gave their all to come to America, all for their children.

Cost: They lost their RMB cash flow and "master-like" social status back home.

Mindset: Extremely complex. On one hand, they feel America is free and the dollar is strong; on the other hand, they resent becoming "second-class citizens."

Contradiction: Their feelings about their home country's public opinion are most conflicted—they fear the home country doing poorly (which would lead to discrimination against Chinese in America), yet also fear it doing too well (which would prove they made the wrong choice initially, selling their house at a loss).

2️⃣ Dual Software Engineer Families: The "Triple Leverage" Finale of Small-Town Test-Taking Winners

The tech industry's signature "dual software engineer" families were once the ceiling for small-town test-taking winners.

Peak: Two people earning $600K+ after taxes, combined with explosive bubble profits from dollar stocks, plus the leverage from Bay Area real estate siphoning global talent.

Crisis: This era is ending. AI has arrived, Silicon Valley is stopping hiring, and big tech companies are no longer growing. This elite group, once sustained by monopoly profits, is losing their growth myth.

3️⃣ Super Wealthy: America is Their "Capital-First" Paradise

Trillionaire-level founders and CEOs like Jack Ma and Ma Huateng are collectively shifting from Canada to the Bay Area.

Logic: America's federal system and Bay Area economy are fundamentally designed to serve the super wealthy.

Reality: There is no ideology here, only "capital-first." As long as you're willing to pay taxes and buy into private board memberships, you get world-class services. A top-tier service costing 5,000 RMB domestically costs 5,000 USD here—a perfect 1:1 replica.

➡ Essence: Washington is the power center for white Americans, Atlanta is the cultural mainstream for Black Americans, while the Bay Area is the "Chinese tech gene" under multiculturalism.

It's a place with no ideology whatsoever. It's simply an open, vibrant capital platform providing a space for people worldwide to make money and fight it out.

As long as you have money, America is your best service provider; if you don't have money, you're just struggling in the aftershocks following the rupture of triple leverage.
