Russia has called on the United States and Israel to immediately stop the war against Iran, warning that the military campaign is pushing the Middle East toward dangerous escalation. Moscow described the strikes as an “unprovoked act of aggression” and urged all sides to halt hostilities and return to diplomatic negotiations.
According to Russian officials, Washington and Tel Aviv appeared to believe that rapid military pressure would force Iran to submit quickly. However, Moscow argues that the situation has instead shown how resilient Iran remains in the face of external attacks. Russian leaders say the ongoing conflict risks triggering a broader regional crisis with serious humanitarian and economic consequences if it continues.
The Kremlin has therefore urged both countries to end the military campaign and pursue dialogue, stressing that diplomacy—not force—is the only realistic path to stability in the region. Russia has also signaled its willingness to support mediation efforts aimed at preventing the conflict from spiraling into a wider war across the Middle East.
Moscow’s message is clear: the war must stop before it leads to deeper instability for the entire region and the global economy.
