Crypto News Alert: ME News reported that on March 19 (UTC+8), Federal Reserve Chair Powell stated that the current U.S. economic situation, even with the impact of surging energy prices caused by the Iran conflict, is far removed from the "stagflation" conditions of the 1970s. The current inflation rate is only one percentage point above target levels, and the unemployment rate remains low. Powell stated, "I will reserve the term 'stagflation' for more severe circumstances. Our current situation is not such a case." Powell added: "Currently, we face certain contradictions between our objectives, and we are working to address this issue through appropriate means. This is a very challenging situation, but it is completely different from what was experienced in the 1970s. I would only use the term 'stagflation' to describe that era."
