AlphaTON Capital Acquires 60% Stake in GAMEE Under Animoca Brands, Valued at $18 Million
Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 20th, Nasdaq-listed company AlphaTON Capital Corp. (Stock Code: ATON) announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 60% controlling stake in mobile gaming platform GAMEE. Currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Animoca Brands, GAMEE has over 119 million registered users, with approximately 61 million active users in the Telegram ecosystem. The valuation of GAMEE for this transaction is $18 million, with a total consideration of up to $11 million.
AlphaTON Capital has officially signed a strategic alliance agreement with Animoca Brands, and the two parties will jointly explore business opportunities in blockchain and social gaming. The transaction is expected to be completed within 30 days.
