One of the darkest crypto stories isn’t about a hack.

It’s about a suitcase.
Fernando Pérez Algaba was a 41 yearold crypto trader from Argentina. On Instagram he posted the crypto dream: luxury cars, big trades, travel, and wealth.
Then in July 2023, he vanished.
Days later, children playing near a stream outside Buenos Aires found a red suitcase.
Inside were dismembered human remains.
Police later confirmed it was Fernando.
Investigators believe the killing may have been tied to financial disputes and large debts connected to his crypto businesses.
