GoldFinance reports that on March 26, the spokesperson for Iran’s Hatem Ambyah Central Command announced that the regional situation has changed, and the passage rules for the Strait of Hormuz will be redefined, meaning that any party associated with Iran’s adversaries will have no right to pass. He emphasized that the authority to grant passage lies with Iran, and the situation in the Strait of Hormuz “will not return to its previous state.” The spokesperson also stated that the United States and Israel “are trapped,” and this trend is becoming increasingly evident. “Not only are your bases being destroyed, but so is the order you have built.” Earlier that day, Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations issued a statement saying that ships from non-belligerent countries can pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz.
