People who are sensitive to cold drinks and find them painful are quite common, right? Recently, there have been many types of toothpaste for sensitive teeth on the market, but honestly, I was unsure which one to choose. So, I tried a few popular products and would like to share my thoughts.
The one I liked the most personally was the one that combines two types of desensitizing ingredients. Having both aluminum lactate and potassium nitrate seems to significantly prevent tooth sensitivity. It’s also free of abrasives and contains 1,450 ppm fluoride, making it gentle on teeth. It leaves a refreshing feeling after use and is easy to use every day.
Among the ones I tested, there was a noticeable difference between products specialized for sensitivity and those that aren’t. Toothpastes with abrasives make your teeth feel smooth, which is great, but they might also irritate sensitive teeth. Personally, I think choosing a non-abrasive toothpaste with a high concentration of fluoride is safer.
Also, the flavor and foaming ability of toothpaste are surprisingly important since you use it daily. If the scent is too strong, it can be hard to keep using. I think milder fragrances are safer. Balancing sensitivity care and cavity prevention is important, so choosing a product that suits your dental condition is the best approach.
