Techub News: The Polygon Foundation will conduct the Giugliano hard fork upgrade around 22:00 Hong Kong time on April 8. The upgrade will be officially activated at block height 85,268,500 on the Polygon mainnet. This upgrade aims to improve finality speed by allowing block producers to announce blocks in advance, while directly embedding fee parameters into block headers and introducing a new RPC interface to optimize fee handling mechanisms and enhance developer support.

The official reminder: To ensure the network operates smoothly, all node operators must upgrade Bor to version v2.7.0 or upgrade Erigon to version v3.5.0 before the upgrade.
