The Middle East conflict is not completely over. Currently, Trump has only agreed to a two-week pause on bombing and attacks against Iran, so market sentiment has temporarily eased and rebounded. However, this two-week period does not mean that the "Trump-style flip" won't happen again. If the fighting could truly be stopped, why would it take two weeks? After all, the ten-point ceasefire proposal from Iran is impossible for the U.S. to accept in full. Moreover, the ceasefire was only agreed upon between the U.S. and Iran; Israel has never publicly confirmed it and continues to strike Iran. If Iran retaliates, Trump would have a reason to claim Iran violated the agreement. As long as necessary, conflicts can be reignited at any time.
