According to monitoring by 1M AI News, AI spatial intelligence company World Labs has recently updated its 3D world generation model Marble, introducing two new models: Marble 1.1 and Marble 1.1 Plus. Marble 1.1 becomes the new default model, improving lighting, contrast, and reducing visual artifacts, with a fixed generation cost of 1,500 credits per use, consistent with the previous generation Marble 1.0. The Marble 1.1 Plus is the more noteworthy update. Previously, all Marble models had a fixed range for generated 3D world space, but the Plus version introduces automatic space expansion for the first time: when input prompts involve outdoor or large indoor scenes, the model will automatically increase the 3D space coverage without requiring users to manually extend the boundaries. The pricing has also shifted to a variable model, with a base fee of 1,500 credits plus a variable generation fee of up to 1,500 credits, depending on the extent of the model’s space expansion. This is the first time Marble has adopted variable pricing. Both models can be accessed via the World API, supporting four input methods: text, a single image, multi-angle images, and video, with a single generation taking approximately 5 minutes. The original Marble 1.0 and 1.0 Draft (quick draft version, 150 credits per use) remain available. World Labs was co-founded by Stanford University computer science professor Fei-Fei Li and focuses on spatial intelligence, having completed a $1 billion funding round in February this year, with investors including AMD, NVIDIA, and Autodesk.
