Gold jewelry price per gram surges by 37 yuan overnight

People’s Finance and News, April 8—On the morning of April 8, international gold prices opened sharply higher, returning to the $4,800 level. By 10:00, international gold futures were up more than 3%, at $4,828.4 per ounce; spot gold was down 0.45%, at $4,810.7 per ounce. Driven by this, domestic gold jewelry prices were also adjusted upward in sync. That day, Laofengxiang’s 24K gold jewelry prices were raised from the previous day’s 1435 yuan per gram to 1470 yuan per gram, an increase of 35 yuan; Chow Sang Sang’s 24K gold jewelry prices were raised from 1434 yuan per gram to 1471 yuan per gram, an increase of 37 yuan.
