just been scrolling and found this rabbit hole of free websites where people are actually making decent money. like nothing crazy, but solid side income if you're willing to put in the work. no startup costs which is the best part.
so apparently you can sell photos on foap if you've got a phone. people are buying travel pics, food shots, whatever. some person makes bank photographing airplanes landing for airlines. you get like 10 bucks per photo or join these brand missions that pay 50 to 200. three million creators on there so clearly it's a thing.
then there's mystery shopping through market force where you basically get paid to shop and eat. average is like 20 an hour which isn't bad for just grabbing lunch and writing notes. they've got an a+ rating so at least it's legit.
if you can write, clearvoice matches you with clients so you're not stuck bidding against everyone else. you set your own rates and they pay per assignment. people are pulling 200 to 1000 per job through here. that's the kind of free-to-start opportunity that actually moves the needle.
gigwalk is wild because the tasks are super random. you could be taking pictures of grocery shelves or auditing restaurant menus. 3 to 100 per gig depending on what you do. takes like 5 minutes to a few hours.
there's also snapwire if you're into photography or video. sell to actual brands around the world. commission based but you can make 25 to hundreds depending on the work. no fees to join.
scribie pays for transcription work. 5 to 20 per audio hour and beginners can hit 800 a month if they're consistent. advanced people apparently make 3200 monthly. just need decent english and internet.
field agent app lets you test products and give feedback. you literally try stuff for free then share your thoughts. pays 2 to 20 per task and people claim they make 100 to 300 daily. obviously won't replace a job but easy cash in your spare time.
trymata pays you to test websites and apps. 10 per test, no limits on how many you do. tests take 20 to 30 minutes. they pay out every weekday through paypal.
fiverr is probably the most flexible. you can offer literally any service. logo design, writing, video editing, whatever. people are making thousands to hundreds of thousands yearly once they build their reputation and niche down. the earnings are basically unlimited if you put in the time.
last one is usertesting. surveys and app testing. 4 for five minutes, 10 for 20 minutes. live interviews pay 30 to 120 if you get selected. feels less like work according to people doing it.
real talk though, how much you actually make depends on what you're good at and how much time you can commit. some of these let you build passive income streams once you get going. the key is picking one that fits your schedule and skills. anyone else tried any of these or am i late to the game?
