Been looking at used trucks lately and honestly, some of these models are absolute nightmares. Like, I get that buying used is supposed to save money, but some worst trucks to buy used will drain your wallet faster than new ones lol.

So I was doing research and found out the 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 is basically a money pit. Apparently the issues are so random that even the dealers can't figure them out consistently. Same with the 2020 Jeep Gladiator - reliability score of 15 out of 100. That's brutal. People complain about the handling, noise, and electrical stuff constantly.

The older Dodge Rams (2011 and 2006 models) are on every worst trucks to buy used list for a reason. The 2006 Ram 2500 alone had 11 recalls. And don't even get me started on the 2005 Toyota Tundra - yeah, even Toyota had a bad year. Engine and transmission issues that'll cost you serious money.

Ford's not immune either. The 2006 F-250 had 274 NHTSA complaints filed against it, mostly suspension and steering problems. Then there's the 2018 F-150 which surprised me because the F-150 is usually solid, but that year had 15 recalls and 893 complaints.

The 2022 Chevy Colorado scored a 5 out of 100 on reliability. A FIVE. And the 2004 Nissan Titan has terrible rear axle issues that keep coming back.

Basically if you're hunting for a used truck, these are the worst trucks to buy used. Better to spend a bit more on a reliable year than get stuck with one of these headaches. Anyone else had bad experiences with older truck models?
