Nischal Shetty, co-founder of WazirX, tweeted that the public chain project Shardeum will launch a new test network on Sphinx, called the DApp test network. This will be a testnet parallel to the current one. The current testnet is focused on validators (hereafter we will refer to it as a validator testnet), while the new testnet will focus on DApps.

Shetty said that while the team is working on bringing stability to the validator testnet, a DApp testnet will be provided, which will be sharded but nodes will be run by the team.
