The Swiss Central Bank (SNB) is skeptical of the idea of investing in Bitcoin.
According to statements made by Swiss Central Bank President Thomas Jordan, the central bank has not yet made a clear decision on investing in Bitcoin.
"We haven't made a decision yet on whether we want to invest in Bitcoin or not. And there are good reasons for that."
Jordan said, "Currency reserves are international payments. They must be liquid. They need to be sustainable. And we need to be able to sell and buy them."
Some cryptocurrency proponents in Switzerland want the central bank to invest in Bitcoin.
