CoinPoker’s CSOP – crypto series of poker – main event starts in just over 12 hours at 18:30 GMT / UTC, with $100,000 guaranteed.
At the time of publishing 30 players are registered – and the top finishers will win the following prize payouts:
Added Value In CoinPoker CSOP Tournaments
Since the CSOP main event buy-in is 500 USDT, the 30 entrants themselves have only added 15,000 USDT to the prizepool – meaning CoinPoker are adding an overlay of 85,000 USDT, making it highly profitable to play even as an amateur.
In the last moments before the tournament starts, more players are likely to enter to take advantage of that added value.
It’s also a rebuy event, with a late registration period of two hours and ten minutes.

All in all however, there will likely still be an overlay.
CoinPoker doesn’t yet have quite the player base of poker sites that accept both fiat deposits and crypto deposits – heavy hitters such as BetOnline or Bovada – but is rapidly growing and has built up a strong reputation as the top 100% crypto native poker site, since its founding in 2017.
This week Business Insider highlighted CoinPoker’s CSOP event, its recent reduction in fees and celebrity poker ambassador Tony G.
High Roller Crypto Poker
While the main event winner will take down 37,000 USDT, there are also even higher buy-in tournaments to take advantage of, plus a CSOP leaderboard, and cash games.
CSOP #36 PLO Tycoon
At 17:00 GMT / UTC a 5,000 USDT buy-in ‘PLO Tycoon’ tournament kicks off, for fans of Pot Limit Omaha rather than the No Limit Hold’em of the main event. That tournament has a 200,000 USDT guaranteed prizepool.
CSOP #40 Nemesis
At 18:00 there’s a ‘CSOP Nemesis’ NLHE event also with a 5,000 USDT buy-in, but a whopping 400,000 USDT guarantee. Currently only one player is registered, but Tony G is expected to make an appearance.
Cash Games
High stakes of up to 1000/2000 blinds regularly run at weekends on CoinPoker, with crypto whales betting over 300k USDT on a single poker hand last weekend.
Back in 2022 the largest pot in online poker history went down at CoinPoker – watch how it played out on CoinPoker’s YouTube channel.
Leaderboard
CoinPoker also puts up an additional 10,000 USDT in added value for its top leaderboard spots – the more in the money finishes and wins players rack up across the entire 41 events of the CSOP, the higher they place on the leaderboard.
Prizes include passports to the Summer Showdown series in July worth up to 2,000 USDT – CoinPoker’s next big tournament event to look forward to in 2024.
