由「華爾街神算子」Tom Lee 所領導的 Bitmine Immersion Technologies（股票代號：BMNR），持續強化對以太幣的長線押注。根據周一發布的聲明，Bitmine 在過去一周內再度買進 41,788 枚以太幣，累計持幣攀升至 428.5 萬枚以太幣。
Bitmine 表示，這批以太幣的平均買入成本每枚約 2,317 美元。截至 2 月 1 日，該公司手中以太幣部位的價值約 99 億美元，目前帳面虧損（浮虧）超過 65 億美元。
除了以太幣部位持續擴張外，Bitmine 同時揭露，公司目前合計持有的加密貨幣、現金及所謂的「Moonshot（以太坊生態投資）」投資總額達 107 億美元，其中包括 5.86 億美元現金，以及比特幣部位、對私人公司與潛力項目的策略投資。
這筆最新加碼使 Bitmine 的以太幣持有量達到全網總流通供應量（約 1.207 億枚以太幣）的 3.55% 。公司內部設定的長期目標，是持有全體流通以太幣的 5%，目前進度已超過 70% 。
Bitmine 還透露，目前公司已投入質押的以太幣總量已攀升至約 290 萬枚，光是上周就新增質押近 90 萬枚。以目前的費率計算，Bitmine 預計年化質押收入約為 1.88 億美元。
Bitmine 董事長 Tom Lee 表示，近期之所以持續加碼以太幣，是由於「以太坊鏈上活動」與「以太幣市場價格」出現脫節。他觀察到，儘管以太幣從年初的 3,000 美元回落至 2,300 美元附近，但鏈上數據卻顯示出截然不同的強勁景象：每日交易量、活躍地址數均創下歷史新高。
Tom Lee 指出，Bitmine 認為這次回檔是趁基本面走強之際增持以太幣的良機。他說：
鑑於以太坊基本面持續走強，我們認為這次回檔極具吸引力，因此 Bitmine 一直在穩步買入以太幣。我們認為，目前的幣價並未反映以太幣的高實用性，及其未來在金融領域的重要地位。
