Did everyone notice this?

Since the beginning of this year after the Lunar New Year, I've clearly felt that people around me have changed their mindset.

Previously, everyone would gather and chat about making money, projects, and development. Now conversations always revolve around wellness, health checkups, early sleep, exercise—health has quietly become everyone's top priority.

I thought this was just a consensus among us middle-aged people, but then I went to Beijing and chatted with some young women from brands. I discovered they're even more enlightened than us. The post-95s and Gen Z have already incorporated health into their daily plans early on. They buy supplements, drink wellness tea, go to the gym regularly. It's no longer "you take care of your health when you're old," but rather "invest in your body from a young age."

I joked that they're working towards living to a hundred? How did those workaholics from a couple years ago suddenly become zen about wellness?

Many friends have already figured out how to adjust. During economic growth, everyone competes on momentum, speed, and returns; during economic downturns, people turn inward, shifting their focus back to themselves. Take care of your body, keep your mindset balanced.

I also pay special attention to health. Many friends who see me think I have great energy and spirit. I tell them that now I really do put my body first. Not just me—most of my middle-aged friends around me used to prioritize their careers but now prioritize their health.

During the Lunar New Year visits, people exchange health supplements as gifts. When dining out together, everyone focuses on healthy ingredients. Everyone has returned to pursuing the three essentials of health:

Eat well, sleep well, have peace of mind. Less stress is the standard of health.
