BTC, the brightest section on the heatmap is concentrated in the 75,000 to 76,000 range. When BTC touched 76,000, it directly liquidated all the short positions in this area at once, because many people had their stop losses set in this region, and they got swept away in one wave. Looking at the heatmap now, the "corpses" of the shorts near 76,000 above have been mostly cleared out, but further up around 78,000, there's a new layer of short defense forces stacked up. Looking downward, the 72,000 area is actually where the longs have their stop losses, and if the price drops down here, it could potentially trigger a cascade of liquidations.
