Wu Shuo learned that according to HK01, the Hong Kong virtual asset trading platform JPEX, which was involved in an alleged fraud case, had another hearing at the Eastern Magistrates' Courts on March 16. Eight defendants, including internet celebrities Lin Zuo and Chen Yi, are facing multiple charges including conspiracy to defraud and money laundering. The magistrate announced that the case would be adjourned to June 1 for the next committal proceedings. In the meantime, apart from the first defendant Zheng Junxi who must remain in custody, the remaining 7 defendants including Lin Zuo have been granted bail to continue on their original conditions.
