According to industry sources, China Telecom Group has issued a directive to Guangdong Telecom requiring comprehensive rectification of cross-border dedicated line services, with a focus on cracking down on access lines that are illegally used for cross-border networking (circumvention).
Currently, Guangzhou has taken the lead in launching rectification actions, and other cities within Guangdong Province are expected to follow suit in succession. As a result, over the coming days, a large number of IEPL dedicated lines using Guangdong Telecom as an entry point may experience service interruptions or connection failures.
