Most people's "depression" is caused by poverty—if they had 100 million in their bank account, they wouldn't be depressed anymore.

For wealthy people who are still depressed and suffering, most of it is because their money was earned through dishonorable means. They had to struggle with all kinds of people in society, some lost their dignity in exchange, some took risks of legal troubles and imprisonment, and some even risked their lives. It's normal to feel depressed with money earned this way.

People who have accumulated enormous wealth through making legitimate contributions to others and society will not be depressed.
