Ethereum made its roadmap much more explicit this time: L1 continues to serve as the settlement layer and liquidity hub, while L2s focus on differentiated features and customized applications. For $ETH , this won't necessarily lead to an immediate pump, but at least it reestablishes the positioning of the underlying asset. The market will find it easier to view it as a "backbone network" going forward.
