PANews January 6 report: According to FT, Telegram currently has fewer than 100 full-time employees. Despite reaching 1 billion users, the company maintains an extremely lean team operation model. Telegram’s revenue for the first half of 2025 reached $870 million, with year-over-year growth exceeding 65%, of which nearly one-third (approximately $300 million) came from “exclusive agreements” related to Toncoin, advertising revenue reached $125 million, and paid subscription revenue reached $223 million, with year-over-year growth of 88%. Despite operating profit close to $400 million, due to Toncoin depreciation, the company still recorded a net loss of $222 million. Telegram targets $2 billion in revenue for 2025. IPO plans have been temporarily delayed due to French litigation.
