During the early session, the support level at 4428 provided a second layout opportunity, and by evening, the 4450 area signaled a long signal. The market didn't disappoint—after a precise retest, it surged in a straight line, ultimately taking profit smoothly near 4480. From the full-day trend, gold launched a one-way rally after probing lows at 4428, with gains breaking through 1%, reaching a high of 4497, and the bullish momentum was quite smooth.
How do we view the technical side? Big gold has firmly established itself above 4490, the breakout is confirmed, and the support level below has moved up accordingly. The 4480–4485 range is now the retest level after the previous high point was broken through. The problem is if we can't hold here. As long as price doesn't break this level, the bullish structure won't be destroyed. The 1-hour K-line shows consecutive positive closes with minimal pullback space, indicating funds are continuing to enter.
Next, focus on two points: if pullbacks don't touch 4480, continuing to explore the 4500 round number is promising; with volume-price coordination on a breakout, 4510–4520 could appear. Conversely, once 4480 is effectively penetrated, we must be careful of a round of pullback in the short term.
At current levels, 4480–4495 is the defensive zone with stops placed at 4473. Target priority is 4515–4520; after a breakout, holdings can look toward 4550.
