Cohere Releases Command A+, 218B Parameter Open Source Model for Enterprise AI Agents

According to Beating, Cohere released Command A+, an open source mixture-of-experts model with 218 billion total parameters under the Apache 2.0 license. Designed for enterprise AI agents and sovereign data deployments, the model activates only 25 billion parameters per inference, enabling it to run on two NVIDIA H100 GPUs or a single B200, with quantized versions available on Hugging Face.

Command A+ supports multimodal image and text inputs with a 128K token context window and 64K token output length. The model is optimized for logical reasoning, autonomous tool use, database queries, and long document processing, with support for 48 languages including all official EU languages.
