According to The Block, Hut 8 Corp.'s shares jumped over 30% in pre-market trading after the company signed a $9.8 billion lease agreement for an artificial intelligence data center campus in Nueces County, Texas, designed to NVIDIA’s compute architecture. The unnamed tenant will use the infrastructure to support AI training and inference workloads at hyperscale, marking the first phase of commercialization for Hut 8’s Beacon Point campus. Shares were up 34% to $107.87 per share as of 9:33 a.m. ET.
