Stablecoin payments firm KAST announced Thursday that it appointed former Securities and Exchange Commission senior advisor Stephanie Allen as head of corporate and policy communications. Allen previously served as the SEC’s spokesperson and advised its Crypto Task Force. KAST, founded in July 2024 by former Circle executive Raagulan Pathy, completed an $80 million Series A funding round in March.
