Aave DAO proposes a $25 million grant from Aave Labs

Aave DAO recently passed a proposal supporting Aave Labs to receive a $25 million stablecoin grant, with an approval rate of about 75%. The proposal includes both immediate funding and phased disbursements, as well as a transfer of 75,000 AAVE tokens for the ecosystem. The main opposition came from the Aave Chan Initiative. The funds will be executed on Monday.

Mars Finance reports that Aave DAO passed its first binding proposal under the Aave Will Win framework on Sunday.
The proposal received 522,780 AAVE in support and 175,310 AAVE against, with an approval rate of approximately 75%.
According to the voting results, Aave Labs will receive a $25 million stablecoin grant, including an immediate allocation of 500,000 aEthLidoGHO tokens, and a total of 20 million aEthLidoGHO tokens distributed over 6 months and 12 months.
Additionally, Aave DAO will allocate 75,000 AAVE (about $6.8 million) from the ecosystem reserve, linearly unlocked over 48 months.
The Aave Chan Initiative cast 166,200 AAVE in opposition votes.
Support votes were cast by addresses such as ParaFi Capital (190,000 AAVE), luggis.eth (123,580 AAVE), and others.
The fund execution is scheduled for Monday afternoon, at which point the funds will begin flowing to the address controlled by Aave Labs.
