Gate Charity Organized Christmas Community Event in Benin, Bringing Festive Warmth to Local Children

Gate Charity has successfully carried out a Christmas toy distribution and community celebration in Cotonou, Benin, on December 20, 2025, bringing warmth, joy, and festive cheer to children and families from underprivileged communities. Organized in collaboration with JCI Abomey Calavi Sica, the event welcomed approximately 200 children and their families, creating a shared space for celebration, connection, and care during the Christmas season.

Throughout the day, children received carefully selected, age-appropriate toys and participated in a wide range of recreational and creative activities. Games, hands-on craft sessions, and Christmas-themed storytelling created a relaxed and interactive environment, encouraging children to engage with one another, sparked their imagination, and shared a day filled with laughter. Accompanied by festive music and a warm communal meal, the venue was filled with a strong holiday atmosphere, allowing many children to experience the warmth and excitement of Christmas in a way that might otherwise have been out of reach.

Beyond the celebration itself, the initiative carried a deeper social purpose.
