UK think tank: Russia's defense production leads Europe

The report warns that this is a significant issue—not just for Ukraine. The report states: Russia’s sustained lead in defense production poses a strategic threat to NATO and the credibility of its conventional deterrence. The report believes that the reasons for Europe’s lagging include a lack of consultation, insufficient emphasis on large-scale production, bureaucratic obstacles, and inadequate utilization of testing infrastructure.
